The memory of days at the beach, bent over playing at the shore, busy “keeping the colored glass marbles on track”... this pleasant memory inspired Federico de Majo to design Bilia, one of Zafferano’s most successful collections.
The drinking glasses from the Zafferano Bilia collection are made from handcrafted, colored borosilicate glass. Design by Frederico de Majo.
The small marbles inside are available in nine different colors. They evoke memories of beach days, when children would bend down to play with marbles at the shore, trying to keep them "on track." But often, they would slip into the water, only to be found again gleaming like gemstones.

Notes on quality and exchanges
Our glasses are hand-blown with great care. Air bubbles, streaks, slight irregularities, or minimal variations in shape and thickness may occur. These features are typical signs of genuine craftsmanship and make each glass unique – they are not grounds for complaint.
A complaint is only possible if
– the air bubble is unusually large or located directly at the rim,
– the glass’s functionality is impaired (e.g., unstable, leaky, sharp-edged),
– there is a material defect or damage.
